Apple Distinguished Educators from Mexico inspire and share creativity at Apple Antara.

On June 21st, four colleagues and I, as members of the Apple Distinguished Educators community in Mexico, shared various initiatives focused on digital creativity at the Apple Antara store.

Representing the German School, Mónica Caballero, Dulce Cuevas, and I, Víctor Rangel, presented the results of our 3rd Digital Creativity Contest, which this year reached a record participation with 450 entries on topics related to Well-Being and Storytelling. Additionally, we extended the invitation to other schools in Mexico so that creativity could be shared beyond our institution.

In brief presentations, we showcased how Mónica and I develop creativity in primary school children through a workshop focused on creating digital products based on Apple’s "EveryOneCanCreate" guidelines. Meanwhile, Dulce Cuevas shared with the attendees how our school has worked over the past few years to enhance learning through digital teaching.

Leonardo Arredondo from Washington College in Querétaro and María Antonieta Flores, coordinator of professional development at Fundación Azteca, also shared multiple success stories from their schools, where they have also developed a digital culture based on creativity.

As Apple Distinguished Educators in Mexico, we want to continue inspiring other teachers and students to innovate and share their results under a common approach. We thank Sabina Levin for her support as the event organizer on behalf of the Learning Design Center and the staff members at the Apple Antara store for making us feel at home.

  Personally, it was a great experience to share our students' work on the big screen at the Apple Antara store and to show the attendees the wonders of digital teaching. I am very happy and proud to be part of the ADE community since 2023.
