Summer Shenanigans: Building Skills and Culture

The end of the year in education can often be hectic. This year, our instructional team decided to transform that chaos into a powerful opportunity with a team-building activity that staff can also use with students. Throughout May, we have planned a daily activity designed to enhance staff skills, foster creativity, and ensure some fun! Many of these activities are inspired by the Everyone Can Create series and forum posts.

As an instructional leader, I find this to be an enjoyable and engaging method to develop my staff’s skills and encourage the creativity and innovation we aspire to see in all classrooms throughout the year. Participation encourages involvement in the Apple Education Community and builds confidence in the skills needed to earn Apple Teacher badges or portfolios, while also helping others to maintain proficiency and push themselves to continue innovating.

If you try out the Shenanigans for yourself or have a suggestion for a daily challenge, please drop a reply!
