More or Less, Better & Best: A New Year Goals Project

Help students turn goal-setting into a creative, meaningful digital experience!

In this project, students ages 8 and up use Freeform and Keynote to design drawings that show what they want more of and less of in the new year.

Students create visual goals connected to their homeschool, and community. These include kindness, more reading, less distractions, or less litter. Using simple drawing tools, shapes, and text, learners organize their ideas into clear “More” and “Less” sections and explain their thinking through images and short captions.

This project supports creativity, reflection, and communication while helping students practice digital design skills and personal goal-setting in a developmentally appropriate way.

Perfect for the start of a new year, this lesson encourages students to think about how their choices can make a positive impact in their lives and in the world around them.
