Our AgriSTEM class, students have been busy planting and monitoring the growth of their plants. To help track progress, they built a Plant Tracker in Apple Numbers. This tool allowed them to record data like height, leaf count, and other observations over time. It’s been a great way to combine hands-on learning with technology, giving students a practical way to organize and analyze their plant growth data.

I really like how the digital plant tracker gives students a consistent way to record measurements and observations over time. As a school-based technology specialist, I am exploring ways to support our Get2Green lead and help students use technology meaningfully in our school garden. I could see students adding photographs at regular intervals and using their data to create graphs showing plant growth and other changes. Did you use the same tracker with all students, or adapt it for different grade levels or learning needs?
