Session A: 9:10–10:05 a.m.

Given the range of learning styles and abilities of students today, educators need technology and resources to accommodate and personalize learning. Apple builds accessibility features into every product, so everyone can use them in ways that work best for them. Join us to discuss how Apple allows all students and teachers to explore, communicate, and create.

Preparing Students with Future Skills

Session B: 10:10–11:05 a.m.

How are you empowering all learners today and preparing them for tomorrow? As technology changes, the skills that employers are looking for are changing — away from passive, knowledge-based skills  toward skills like creative problem-solving, analytical thinking, design, and collaboration. Join us to discuss how to equip students with these skills and how Apple can enable them to do real-world work with real-world tools.

Ensuring Equitable Access

Session C: 1:10–2:05 p.m.

Given the range of learning styles and abilities of students today, equity of access has never been more important. But to personalize learning for all students, educators need effective technology and resources. Join us to explore best practices for supporting all learners — and see how Apple’s built-in tools and features allow everyone to use technology in ways that work best for them.

Engaging Early Learners

Session D: 2:45–3:40 p.m.

What do you expect learning to look like for your youngest students? And how can technology play a role? Join us for a discussion around how the use of technology should be intentional and natural, as well as age appropriate to meet the abilities of each learner. We’ll also explore how iPad can help your youngest students communicate, create, and learn at their own pace.

Augmented reality gives students opportunities to experience the world in new and inspiring ways, but integrating it into curriculum requires planning. Join us to learn best practices for bringing augmented reality to the classroom across subject areas — from science to social studies and beyond.
