Augmented Reality?

Are there any Coaches out there who are working with teachers using Augmented Reality with Middle School students?

We are thinking about launching a Middle School project that blends Augmented Reality with student-created 3D design, and I’d love to hear your feedback as well as the community’s.

The concept is for students to design site-specific AR murals that appear on real walls around the school. They would create some of the 3D elements in Tinkercad, then import, build, and animate within Reality Composer. After that, they would anchor the mural to a physical location using an image of the wall, document it with a screen recording, and publish both the recording and the .usdz file to a shared Padlet gallery. The goal is a building-wide AR gallery walk that highlights student voice and creativity.

I’ve also used CoSpaces (now Delightex) with fifth graders in the past and I am considering revisiting that platform as well. If anyone has ideas, experiences, or suggestions, I’d love to learn with you.

Please feel free to reach out!

Have a great night,

Yes!  We have done a lot of work using Reality Composer in our middle schools.  Happy to share any ideas and love to brainstorm more if you have some!
