Does anyone have any data or experience with the new Apple Studio Display and how it might help a young adult student (very computer adept) with sensory sensitivities associated with ASD including flickering, severe headaches, brightness/contrast, visual fatigue, etc.? I have searched several areas and can't find anything provided by Apple. He is a talented student and I want to support his ongoing learning. If this monitor would help him ameliorate the visual challenges, I'm willing to spend the budget I just need to find data to support the purchase. Thanks.

I don't have any specific research I can point you do, but I have worked with a variety of students with ASD and ADHD. We have often found that adapting some of the display settings under accessibility have helped them when working on iPad. So if you haven't already tried those with this student it might be worth a shot. Here are the ones we try, under Settings > Accessibility > Display & Text Size try Reduce Transparency and Reduce White Point, you can also try some of the color filters. Many of my students with ASD say the Smart Invert helps them a lot, but some have even found support from the Color Filters. It is always just a trial and error type protocol with each individual student.
